Ivy Africa started as an LTSM textbook supplier to Free State and Eastern Cape schools. A decade later, we're a 100% Black-Owned, BEE Level 1 technology solutions, software licensing, and certification training provider — authorised across seven major OEM and training brands.
Ivy Africa was founded in 2016, initially focused on LTSM textbook supply to schools across the Free State and Eastern Cape. That early, practical relationship with schools taught us how South African procurement actually works — the documentation, the compliance, the accountability that public and institutional buyers require.
Since then, we've built direct authorised partnerships with Dell, HP, Lenovo, Huawei, Microsoft, Adobe and Cisco, alongside distributor relationships with Pinnacle and First Distribution. We're an authorised CompTIA and PECB training provider, with Cisco, AWS and IBM training tracks now added to our catalogue, and our QCTO accreditation as a Skills Development Provider is in progress.
Today Ivy Africa operates seven divisions — Training, Technology, Education, SMME Support, Consultancy, Innovation, and AI & Emerging Tech — headquartered at 2 Margaret Street, Aliwal North, Eastern Cape, and delivering nationally.
Ivy Africa (Pty) Ltd operates under founding and co-director ownership, with a 100% Black-owned, BEE Level 1 structure.
Our team facilitates SMME development programmes through GIBS's Enterprise Development Academy Faculty.
